Project Overview
This project focused on solving complex user experience challenges through strategic design thinking and user-centered methodologies.
The Challenge
This was a pressure project with senior visibility. The dashboard had to display real financial data clearly and accurately, including returns, allocations, and performance across legal entities. It also needed to feel simple enough to scan quickly, without dumbing things down.
The Process
Research & Workshop Artifacts
I led UX design across web and mobile, working with stakeholders in Wealth, compliance, and research. I ran early-stage testing with clients using clickable Axure prototypes and helped frame how to surface both high-level summaries and deeper performance insights. We worked through several rounds of validation and iterated designs to meet a wide range of investment styles and expectations.
The Outcome
The app was released to a private cohort of Barclays Wealth clients and received positive feedback around clarity and usefulness. It marked one of the first mobile-optimised investment views for this client base, with strong internal support for the direction it took.
